A Boy’s Journey Through Corporate America’s Guiding Principles

C. 2016

A few years ago there was a wealthy young Russian girl who was hired out of an internship to become the head of marketing. She thought it would be a great idea to hire an in-house artist to illustrate the company's own Guiding Principles. I was the only employee to enter the submission process, so I was selected. I decided to use a catty, gay-boy named Stefan [pronounced STE-FAWN] to illustrate his earnest interpretation of the company's Guiding Principles. The result was deemed largely unprofessional and politely unusable. I was paid in full and the project never went to print. This is an underground publishing of said project with all names and identifying characteristics removed.

papercopy (maga)zine originally published in 2017

each copy is individually printed and hand-bound so please allow for imperfections, as I enjoy hiding none of them.
